Legal Experience

Huma is a Trusts and Estates  attorney who has been working with founding attorney Javed Ellahie for nearly two decades.  Her practice focuses on drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advanced health care directives, transferring real property into trusts, trust administration, probate and conservatorships. Huma strives to help each client thoughtfully craft an estate plan that not only lays out personalized wishes regarding their assets, health and minor children, but also creates the legacy and message they wish to leave behind to their loved ones.

Huma also has experienced preparing Spousal Property Petitions, Small Estate Affidavits, Heggstad Petitions  and regularly appears in court throughout the Bay Area.

Huma brings a diversity of legal experience to each client interaction. Her background also includes Corporate Formation, Real Property matters, Employment Law and Intellectual Property. Huma has first chair experience and has successfully negotiated settlements over six figures.

Huma Ellahie has helped form dozens of California corporations and register trademarks with the USPTO.
