What is Probate?

"Probate" is the court-instituted process of settling the estate of a deceased person, by specifically resolving all claims and distributing the decedent's property. Our attorneys have worked with families throughout Campbell, San Jose and San Francisco for over 30 years in resolving:

  • Challenges to the validity of a will
  • Distributing property as directed by the will
  • Having the property appraised
  • Identifying and inventorying the deceased person's property
  • Paying estate debts and taxes
  • Proving in court that a will is valid

We are committed to working with our clients to efficiently deliver personalized and cost-effective estate planning solutions to families in the Bay Area. Our objective is to limit our clients tax ramifications and minimize the probate courts involvement. We strive to make the entire process seamless for our clients.
